Three cheers for two good days in a row!
While I did not fall asleep last night until after 4 am, I woke around 11 and felt pretty good. I spent some time running errands with a wonderful and supportive friend and then relaxed at home with her and mom before having an amazing dinner. Yep, that is right; I ate a solid meal two days in a row. I feel proud of myself for that!
Based on the recommendation of one of my wonderful reader’s comment, I looked into the Louise Hays daily calendar. I also woke up today with a link from an acquaintance where I could purchase the daily affirmations calendar directly on my phone. That makes it even more convenient for me, and I’m all about convenience.
For January 21, 2015, the daily affirmation was “Today I am willing to see how and where I need to change.” This is a big one for me, because it is something that I’ve touched on in past postings and continue to work on. Being more positive and less critical of myself and those around me are two major areas that I am working on.
For today, I feel as if I am ending on a positive note. I feel a slight spring in my step which has been missing for some time and I smiled and laughed more today than I have in a very long time. Today, I am grateful for my awesome friend, yes Rose, that’s you, who has helped me to see the potential I have as a writer, for always inviting me places even though she knows I might not be feeling up to it, and for always being there to support me.
Until next time!
